The election race locally is set for a photo finish. Local community campaigners, Frank, Lesley and David, have edged within touching distance of the Conservatives. Labour are stuck in third place and the Lib Dems are trailing behind.
There is not long left to go now until residents head to the polls on Thursday 4th May. Recent polling shows that the Greens are within 2% points of the Conservatives and that a win here for Frank, Lesley and David is possible.
More and more voters are getting behind the only candidates who have consistently worked hard for our area. They know a vote for Frank, Lesley and David ensures we get a strong voice speaking up for us in the Council. Electing Frank, Lesley and David will tell the Council, in no uncertain terms, that we need far more attention paid to Wingerworth and our community.
The latest local polling shows the election in Wingerworth is set to be one of the closest anywhere in North East Derbyshire.
On the doorstep, residents are increasingly saying they will be backing Frank, Lesley and David since they are the only candidates working hard for Wingerworth.
The Labour Party, trailing in third place, have lost hope and cannot win on Thursday 4th May.
