I am sharing with you the open letter which I have written to Conservative Council leader and representative for Wingerworth and Shirland, Barry Lewis.
The letter is a response to a culmination of events, but mainly those which took place over the weekend and which saw opposition members stripped of their right to vote and silenced during a crucial debate on Care Homes.
I am calling on Barry Lewis and his Conservative colleagues to halt their misinformation campaign and to restore trust between the council and our communities. You can see the full open letter below or on our website.
As the Green Party campaigner for Wingerworth and Shirland and having finished 2nd to Barry Lewis in the most recent elections, I have been keeping up the pressure. Our campaign is in full swing and myself and other local Greeens are ready to win this seat in 2023.
